Hey there - wanted to let you know there had been 3000 + counterprotesters at the Crawford showing this weekend, all to show our support of the troops and you lovely men and women! I am a FReeper and we are a bit upset that the news is giving more coverage of the hurrican than this counter protest, but just in case the information doesnt reach you, I wanted to let you know : there was a HUGE showing of men and women, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, family, friends who wanted to send a HUGE shout-out of how much we believe in what our military is doing and that we send all our prayers and wishes and love to you guys!!!! Don't let the media get you down - they are NOT speaking the truth! And there were quite a few Vietnam vets and people who remember that time who were going to be damned if they were going to let the Leftist pukes try to resurrect that era through Cindy Sheehan. She and her ilk are now being called Sheehadis!!!
Best regards,
Sharon Ferguson
What is a FReeper? To be quite honest, I am definitely not a politically minded person...I hate all politicians equally. I really don't follow the media either, aside from the Stars and Stripes. I guess I'll be in for quite a suprise when I get home, I have no idea of what the social climate is like. Thank you for your support of the military. I believe that a person can support the citizens that serve their country through arms, yet criticize the government's actions. I feel that our leaders need watchdogs.
Came accross your blog and you crack me up!!! I am not a political person either but I don believe in right and wrong. Thanks for all you guys are doing for us.
